Cookies & Storage
Last updated: 12 June 2026
1. What we use, in plain words
Legion of the Sands does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or any third-party trackers. Instead, the Site keeps a small number of entries in your browser's local storage — a quiet notepad that lives on your own device and never leaves it.
2. What those entries remember
- Age confirmation — that you told us you're 18 or older, so the welcome gate doesn't greet you on every single visit.
- Your storage choice — whether you picked “Accept All” or “Essential Only” in the storage notice, so we don't keep asking.
- Game preferences — if you accepted all storage, the game may remember small comfort settings such as sound and music choices where applicable.
The first two are essential: without them, the age gate and the notice would reappear every visit. The third is optional and only applies if you chose “Accept All”.
3. What we deliberately don't do
- No analytics or measurement scripts of any kind.
- No advertising or remarketing cookies.
- No cross-site tracking and no sharing of stored data — the entries never leave your device.
If we ever introduce analytics, this page and the storage notice will say so clearly first — we won't claim less than we do.
4. How to delete the stored entries
Open your browser's settings, find the privacy or site-data section, and clear data for legionofthesands.com. In most browsers:
- Chrome / Edge: Settings → Privacy → Site settings → View permissions and data stored across sites → search for legionofthesands.com → delete.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data → search for legionofthesands.com → remove.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data → search for legionofthesands.com → remove.
After clearing, you'll simply meet the welcome gate and storage notice again on your next visit — nothing else changes, and no progress is lost because the game keeps no permanent progress.
