1. Who we are and what this site is

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Legion of the Sands, available at legionofthesands.com (the “Site”), including the free browser game Sands of Olympus (the “Game”). By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The Site is a free social gaming website intended for entertainment only. It is not a casino, betting service, lottery or gambling operator, and it is not affiliated with any such service.

2. You must be 18 or older

The Site is intended exclusively for persons aged 18 years or older. By entering the Site and confirming your age at the welcome gate, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18, you must not use the Site.

3. Free play only — no real money, ever

• The Game is entirely free to play. We do not sell anything on the Site.
• There are no deposits, purchases, fees, subscriptions or in-game payments of any kind.
• All coins, balances, wins and tallies within the Game are virtual points. Virtual points have no monetary value, cannot be cashed out, transferred, sold or exchanged for money, goods or services, and confer no rights of any kind.
• Nothing on the Site constitutes gambling, wagering or a prize competition. You cannot win or lose money or anything of value by using the Site.

4. Your conduct

When using the Site, you agree that you will not:

• use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law in Australia or your place of residence;
• attempt to interfere with, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Site, its infrastructure or its code;
• copy, redistribute, reverse-engineer or commercially exploit the Game or any Site content without our written permission;
• misrepresent the Site as a gambling or real-money service in any context.

5. Browser storage

The Site stores small entries in your web browser to remember your age confirmation and your storage preference, and — where you accept all storage — game display and sound preferences. Details are set out in our Cookies & Storage page and our Privacy Policy. You can delete these entries at any time through your browser settings.

6. Intellectual property

The Site and the Game, including all artwork, text, logos, design elements and software, are protected by intellectual property rights held by us or our licensors. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Site for private entertainment only.

7. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice. Because the Site is free, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and virtual balances may reset at any time, including between sessions by design.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, we exclude all warranties not expressly stated here, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Responsible play

Although the Site involves no real money, we encourage balanced, mindful play. If gambling on other services is causing you concern, free and confidential Australian support services are listed on our Responsible Play page.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
